Attention EMBA, MBA and OneMBA alumni and students: On Tuesday 20 March, distinguished philanthropist and Chairman of the K. Wah Group, Dr. Lui Che Woo, will be presenting a talk on 'The Qualities in Leaders of the New Generation' at the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hotel in Tsimshatsui East. Admission is free, but due to the very limited availability of seats and the high attendance rate expected, prior registration will be necessary. The Center for Business Innovation and Globalization (Center BiG) of the CUHK Business School aims to contribute to the economic and social development of China, particularly in the Pearl River Delta Region. Built on a wealth of expertise and experience, Center BiG nurtures innovative global business leaders with insights into China, enabling them to operate in the global markets. On 17 March, the soft launch for Center BiG kicks off with its first official event – a forum featuring an inspiring address titled 'The Digital Divide is Re-shaping the World – Tremendous New Opportunities and Challenges to the Businesses of Today and Tomorrow', delivered by the CEO of News Corporation China Investments, Dr. Jack Gao.

IFFA Students Win Top Prize in Manulife Inter-University Competition
|

We are extremely pleased to announce that two brilliant teams of BBA students from the Insurance, Financial and Actuarial (IFAA) Program outperformed strong opposition to win the Championship and First Runner-up prizes in the Manulife Inter-University Competition! Congratulations to both winning teams who each walk away with cash prizes for their efforts, as well as a trophy for the Championship team. The competition is aimed at encouraging students to develop macro visions and a far-sighted approach to retirement solutions.

Chinese New Year Dinner for Members of the MBA Elite Mentorship Program

On 10 February, the MBA Career Management Centre held a Chinese New Year dinner gathering to celebrate the Year of the Dragon with mentors and mentees of the MBA Elite Mentorship Program. We are very grateful for the loyalty of our mentors, most of whom are alumni and key business leaders in their respective sectors, and thank them for their continued support of the program.
